Role of artificial intelligence in oil industry
In this course, you will learn what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, explore use cases and applications of AI, understand AI concepts and terms like machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and Fuzzy logic. You will be exposed to various issues, concerns surrounding AI, and get advice from experts on how to use the AI in the Oil Industry. You will also demonstrate AI in the Oil Industry in action with a mini-project.

Who should attend
This course requires a basic knowledge of programming or computer science expertise and is designed to introduce the basics of AI to anyone whether you have a technical background or not.
The trainee will understand the AI concepts, terminology, and terms and will take part in exercises and group work building on an AI system and apply it to the field of the Oil Industry.

Dr. Mohammad Faisal works as an assistant professor in the College of Applied Computer Science, King Saud University and a robotics consultant at the Center of smart Robotics Research, College of Computer and Information Sciences, King Saud University. He also supervises the unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the College of Applied Computer Science. He obtained his master’s and doctorate degrees from King Saud University in 20012 and 2016 respectively. He won the President of the Republic of Yemen Youth Award for the Applied Sciences Branch for the year 2013, as well as many scientific and research awards and medals. Dr. Mohammed’s research is currently focusing on the use of robots and artificial intelligence to improve the quality of life and find innovative solutions. In recent years, Dr. Mohammad has published scores of scientific research in refereed and classified scientific journals and conferences. In 2019, Dr. Mohammed granted a Patent for a tree harvesting tool from the United States, and in 2013 authored the book titled Developing Protocols for Monitoring Using Wireless Sensor Network and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
